Welcome to ( CFM ) Chiniot Furniture Market. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and custom furniture manufacturing services. By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or purchasing any product or service from Chiniot Furniture Market, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue the use of our website and services.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Warranty Policy, which form part of our overall customer agreement.
Eligibility
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or legally authorized to enter into a binding contract.
- The information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- You have the legal authority to purchase the products or services requested.
- You will use our website only for lawful purposes.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend transactions, or cancel orders if we reasonably believe that false information has been provided or these Terms have been violated.
Acceptance of Orders
An order is considered accepted only after:
- Your quotation has been approved.
- Required specifications have been finalized.
- The agreed advance payment has been received.
- Chiniot Furniture Market has confirmed the order in writing through email, WhatsApp, or another official communication channel.
Submitting an inquiry or requesting a quotation does not constitute a binding contract.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order before production begins for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or typographical errors
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Requests that violate applicable laws
- Requests involving copyrighted or unauthorized designs
- Safety or manufacturing limitations
If an order is cancelled by us before production starts, any advance payment received will be refunded in accordance with our refund policy.
Custom Orders & Design Approval
Most of our furniture is handcrafted and manufactured specifically for each customer. Because every custom order is unique, careful review and approval are essential before production begins.
Before manufacturing starts, customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all order details, including:
- Product dimensions
- Wood species
- Finish and polish selection
- Upholstery fabric
- Cushion design
- Hardware selections
- Carving style
- Fabric color
- Stitching details
- Quantity
- Delivery address
- Any other custom specifications
Production will begin only after these specifications have been confirmed.
Any changes requested after production has started may:
- Increase production costs.
- Extend delivery timelines.
- Require additional material charges.
- Be technically impossible to implement.
Additional costs resulting from customer-requested modifications will be communicated before work proceeds.
Customer-Provided Designs
We welcome original custom furniture concepts, sketches, CAD drawings, photographs, inspiration images, and reference materials.
By submitting any design, you confirm that:
- You own the design or have the legal right to authorize its use.
- The submitted materials do not knowingly infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights.
- You grant Chiniot Furniture Market permission to use the submitted materials solely for the purpose of designing, manufacturing, and delivering your order.
We reserve the right to decline any request that appears to copy protected commercial products or violates applicable intellectual property laws.
Our handling of customer-submitted designs is further described in our Privacy Policy.
Product Specifications & Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted specifications are accurate.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Measurements
- Room dimensions
- Doorway and staircase access
- Elevator accessibility
- Wood selection
- Upholstery choices
- Finish preferences
- Installation requirements
Chiniot Furniture Market is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or manufacturing errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Customers should carefully verify that purchased furniture can safely pass through entrances, staircases, hallways, elevators, and installation areas before placing an order.
Pricing & Quotations
All quotations provided by Chiniot Furniture Market are based on the information available at the time of preparation.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
- Prices are quoted in the agreed currency.
- Transportation, installation, taxes, customs duties, or other additional charges may be excluded unless specifically mentioned.
Because timber, upholstery materials, hardware, and imported accessories are subject to market fluctuations, quotations may be revised if production has not yet commenced and material costs change significantly after the quotation expires.
Customers will always be informed of any revised pricing before production begins.
Payments
To begin manufacturing, an advance payment is required.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Custom furniture orders require a 30%–50% non-transferable advance payment.
- Production begins only after the advance payment has been received and confirmed.
- The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule, typically before dispatch or at the time of delivery.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Bank Transfer
- Cash Deposit
- Mobile Wallets (where available)
- Other approved payment methods communicated by Chiniot Furniture Market
Payment processing fees charged by financial institutions or payment providers remain the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Ownership of all products remains with Chiniot Furniture Market until full payment has been received.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Because every custom furniture piece is manufactured specifically for the customer, cancellation rights are limited.
Before Production Begins
Orders cancelled within 48 hours of payment may qualify for a full refund, provided that:
- Material procurement has not started.
- Production has not commenced.
- No custom design work has been completed.
After Production Begins
Once wood cutting, carving, polishing, upholstery preparation, or manufacturing has started:
- Advance payments become non-refundable.
- Customers remain responsible for costs already incurred.
- Additional charges may apply for completed work or purchased materials.
Order Modifications
Requests to modify dimensions, wood type, carving, upholstery, finish, or other specifications after production begins are subject to feasibility.
If accepted, such modifications may:
- Increase production costs.
- Extend delivery schedules.
- Require additional payments before production continues.
Chiniot Furniture Market reserves the right to decline modifications that would compromise structural integrity, craftsmanship, or production efficiency.
Production Timelines
Each furniture piece is handcrafted using traditional Chinioti woodworking techniques.
Estimated production times are provided in good faith but should be considered approximate rather than guaranteed.
Production schedules may reasonably vary due to factors including:
- Seasonal wood availability
- Wood seasoning requirements
- Hand-carving complexity
- Custom design revisions
- Material availability
- Public holidays
- Transportation disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Events beyond our reasonable control
If significant delays occur, we will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed regarding updated completion estimates.
Reasonable production delays do not automatically entitle customers to refunds or compensation.
Measurement Tolerance
Because our furniture is handcrafted rather than mass-produced, minor dimensional variations are considered normal.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a manufacturing tolerance of approximately ±5 mm (or the equivalent practical tolerance for large furniture pieces) may apply.
Such minor variations do not constitute manufacturing defects and are not grounds for rejection or refund.
Craftsmanship & Natural Material Characteristics
Every piece of furniture produced by Chiniot Furniture Market is handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional Chinioti woodworking techniques. Unlike mass-produced factory furniture, handcrafted furniture naturally contains slight variations that make each piece unique.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that minor variations are a normal characteristic of handcrafted furniture and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
These natural characteristics may include:
- Unique wood grain patterns
- Natural knots and mineral streaks
- Slight texture variations
- Hand-carving differences
- Minor polish absorption differences
- Natural color tone variations
- Seasonal wood movement
These variations enhance the authenticity and individuality of solid wood furniture and should not be interpreted as flaws.
Wood, Finish & Color Variations
Wood is a natural material, and no two pieces are identical.
Although we make every reasonable effort to match approved samples, customers acknowledge that slight variations may occur due to:
- Natural wood grain
- Wood age and density
- Seasonal moisture levels
- Hand-applied polishing techniques
- Lighting conditions
- Camera photography
- Mobile or computer screen settings
- Monitor color calibration
Actual furniture colors may therefore differ slightly from photographs, digital renderings, catalogs, social media posts, or sample images.
Such differences are considered normal and are not grounds for cancellation, refund, or replacement.
Upholstery & Fabric Variations
Fabric and leather are sourced from trusted suppliers. While every effort is made to match approved samples, slight differences may occur between production batches.
Customers acknowledge that minor variations in the following may naturally occur:
- Fabric shade
- Weaving pattern
- Texture
- Printing alignment
- Material thickness
- Dye lot consistency
Where an exact material becomes unavailable, we will contact the customer before using a suitable alternative of comparable quality.
Product Care & Customer Responsibilities
Proper care is essential to preserve the appearance and longevity of handcrafted furniture.
Customers are responsible for maintaining their furniture according to the care instructions provided.
To maximize product life, customers should avoid:
- Excessive moisture or water exposure
- Direct sunlight for prolonged periods
- High humidity
- Extreme temperature changes
- Harsh chemical cleaners
- Abrasive cleaning materials
- Standing or sitting beyond recommended weight limits
- Improper lifting or dragging
Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, improper cleaning, unauthorized repairs, or environmental conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Shipping & Delivery
We carefully package every order using appropriate protective materials to reduce the risk of damage during transportation.
Delivery may be performed by Chiniot Furniture Market or by trusted third-party logistics providers, depending on the destination.
Delivery charges, installation fees, customs duties, taxes, or other applicable charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith and are subject to reasonable delays caused by factors beyond our control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Road closures
- Transport disruptions
- Customs clearance
- Public holidays
- Government restrictions
- Force Majeure events
While we make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery schedules, delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery Inspection
Customers, or their authorized representatives, are responsible for inspecting all furniture immediately upon delivery.
Before signing any delivery receipt, customers should verify:
- Product quantity
- Visible condition
- Packaging integrity
- Obvious transportation damage
- Missing components
Any visible issues should be recorded with the delivery personnel whenever reasonably possible.
Failure to inspect the products upon delivery may affect our ability to investigate transportation-related claims.
Transit Damage
Although every order is packaged with great care, damage during transportation may occasionally occur.
If transit damage is suspected, customers must:
- Notify Chiniot Furniture Market within 24 hours of delivery.
- Provide clear photographs and/or videos of the damage.
- Retain the original packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
- Cooperate with any inspection requested by us or the logistics provider.
Following review, we may, at our discretion:
- Repair the affected item.
- Replace damaged components.
- Replace the complete product where appropriate.
- Offer another reasonable solution based on the circumstances.
Claims submitted after the reporting period may not be eligible for review.
Installation & Assembly
Certain products may require professional installation or on-site assembly.
Where installation services are included, customers must ensure that:
- The installation area is safe and accessible.
- Adequate space is available.
- Doorways, hallways, elevators, and staircases permit safe movement of the furniture.
- Utilities or site conditions do not prevent installation.
If installation cannot be completed due to customer site conditions, additional transportation, storage, or return visit charges may apply.
Customers choosing self-installation assume responsibility for any damage resulting from improper assembly or installation.
Storage of Completed Orders
Once a customer is notified that an order is complete, prompt payment and collection or delivery arrangements are expected.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Completed orders may be stored for a reasonable period without charge.
- Extended storage beyond the complimentary period may incur storage fees.
- Customers who fail to complete payment or arrange collection for an extended period may be contacted before further action is taken.
We reserve the right, where permitted by applicable law, to recover reasonable storage costs associated with prolonged delays caused by the customer.
Warranty
Chiniot Furniture Market stands behind the quality of its craftsmanship.
Warranty coverage, where applicable, extends only to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural wood movement
- Minor color variations
- Fabric fading
- Scratches or dents after delivery
- Water damage
- Fire damage
- Termite or pest damage
- Damage caused by misuse or neglect
- Commercial use
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Improper maintenance
Any warranty period begins on the date of delivery unless otherwise specified.
Separate warranty documents, where provided, shall prevail over this general clause.
Returns & Exchanges
Because most of our products are custom manufactured, returns and exchanges are limited.
Custom-made furniture manufactured according to customer-approved specifications is generally not eligible for return or exchange solely because of:
- Change of mind
- Preference changes
- Minor natural wood variations
- Slight color differences
- Handcrafted variations
- Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
Returns or exchanges may be considered only where:
- The wrong product was delivered.
- A verified manufacturing defect exists.
- The product substantially differs from the approved order specifications.
Each request will be evaluated individually based on the available evidence.
Ownership & Risk of Loss
Ownership of furniture remains with Chiniot Furniture Market until full payment has been received.
Risk of accidental loss or damage transfers to the customer upon successful delivery, collection, or completion of installation, whichever occurs first.
Customers are encouraged to inspect products carefully before accepting delivery.
International Orders
For international orders, Chiniot Furniture Market’s responsibility is limited to delivery within Pakistan. We will deliver your order to your nominated freight forwarder, shipping agent, cargo company, or another agreed location in Pakistan.
From that point onward, the customer is solely responsible for:
- International shipping and freight arrangements
- Customs clearance and import duties
- Taxes, insurance, and local delivery charges
- Final delivery to the destination country
Once the order has been handed over to the customer’s nominated agent or delivery location within Pakistan, Chiniot Furniture Market is not responsible for any loss, damage, delays, customs issues, or additional charges during international transportation.
Product Availability
All products displayed on our website are subject to material availability and production capacity.
Occasionally, certain wood species, fabrics, hardware, or decorative materials may become unavailable.
Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and discuss suitable alternatives before proceeding with production.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or materials without prior notice where necessary.
